As an alternative route, you can go to Napoli “Piazza Garibaldi” (where the raylway station “Napoli Centrale” is located) by Alibus Shuttle Service (ticket info in Italian), and take high speed (Alta Velocità – AV) or traditional train services supplied by Trenitalia (Trenitalia website) or Italo (ITALO website) to Salerno.

From the airport Rome Fiumicino, take the “Leonardo Express” train to Roma Termini. Then, take the high-speed train (Alta Velocità) to Salerno with Trenitalia or Italo.

By train

By car

From Naples – two alternatives are available:

  • A3 highway (Napoli-Salerno);
  • A16 highway (Napoli-Bari); from barrier “Napoli Est” merge onto A30 (Caserta-Salerno), direction Salerno.

From Rome: take the A1 Highway (Milano-Napoli), and merge onto A30 (Caserta-Salerno), direction Salerno.
